Whether you are a long time vegan or you're exploring the idea of eating less meat we have committed to make travelling easier. So on each of our trips you will only find wholesome vegan and vegetarian food. By making a conscious decision to travel with VOGO you are choosing environment and ethics first.

Our love for wildlife starts with planting trees. Trees provide a local habitat for wildlife as well as shade, safety and shelter for a more thriving biodiverse eco-system.
FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
Forests provide us with oxygen, help regulate our climate, filter water, absorb carbon dioxide and stabilise the soil.
FOR THE FUTURE
We aim to plant trees between 6-12 months dependent on seasonality. The trees in our grove never get chopped down, sold or harvested we simply let them grow.
VOGO for the animals

Animals will be kept off the plate, instead we protect and promote animals in their natural habitat. We say no to visiting fish markets, street side meat vendors, animal rides or establishments where animals are used for entertainment.

We make decisions that will benefit the destinations we visit. You will never find a large chain hotel on our trips, instead we select small, local boutique accommodation, guesthouses and eco-lodges.
We diligently choose hotels that fit the VOGO sustainability criteria regardless of location or duration. Promote hotels that have been constructed using local sustainable materials and use energy efficient lights, water harvesting, drip irrigation or smart water management.

Our trips require the highest of due diligence to ensure the hotels we stay in are actively participating in doing better for our planet. We educate our hotels on how to actively try to reduce single use plastics, work to introduce biodegradable cleaning products and green amenities and encourage GMO/pesticide free produce or source ingredients locally.
Some of our hotel partners are making monumental shifts with initiatives to help with education or restoring natural surrounding ecosystems and landscapes with clean-ups, wildlife protection and reforestation.
